Course Outline
This course is designed to provide professionals, particularly in offshore and shipping industries, with an understanding of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles and their application in business. Participants will explore the growing importance of ESG in today's business environment, learn how to incorporate ESG factors into strategic decision-making, and gain practical skills for implementing and managing ESG initiatives. Through a combination of theoretical insights, practical exercises, and case studies, this course will equip participants with the knowledge and tools needed to begin planning sustainable business practices, set broader ESG goals, understand the impact of their organisation on the environment and stakeholders, and enhance their organisation's ESG performance.
Course Objectives

• Understand the core principles of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and their significance in modern business practices.
• Analyse the impact of ESG factors on business sustainability and profitability.
• Learn how to integrate ESG criteria into business strategies and operations.
• Gain practical skills for implementing ESG initiatives within an organization.

Appraisal Process:
The appraisal consists of a 45-minute written exam to demonstrate understanding of theoretical concepts.
Certification:
Learners will receive a UK registered NOCN Level 3 Certificate for ESG for Business. Certificates are awarded from the UK and will be forwarded post course in soft copy to the individuals and/or the employer point of contact.
