Emergency Management Team

Course Outline / Target Group
The course will provide Learners with formal training in the strategy, tactics, command and control, communications and coordination elements used in the management of major emergencies.
The course is designed for personnel who fill the Emergency Coordinator (EC) or Incident Controller (IC) role, traditionally referred to as the ‘Duty Manager’, whose responsibilities include the support of any ‘site’ should they have an emergency incident, and is based on the principles of the Incident Command System (ICS).
