This program is tailored to equip personnel within the construction industry with the fundamental knowledge and initial response actions necessary during emergency situations at the workplace. It specifically addresses the roles of support team members in identifying warning signs, mitigating negative impacts, and effectively communicating the situation to relevant parties, including workplace managers, supervisors, security personnel, and individuals closest to the incident location.

• Describe the ICSC Incident Action Planning.
• Identify the various functional areas within ICS and understand the different Roles and Responsibilities.
• Safety approach to be adopted on a Construction Site.

This course introduces the Incident Command System (ICSC) tailored for the construction industry in Malaysia.
The primary objectives of the course include:
Familiarizing participants with the fundamental principles of the Incident Command System and the National Incident Management System, emphasizing their relevance and application in managing emergencies within the construction sector.
Equipping participants with the skills necessary to coordinate effectively with response partners across various governmental levels and the private sector, ensuring a coordinated and efficient response to construction-related incidents.
